Cork is staying home for the holidays.
The Chandler fine-dining restaurant launched a special Sunday night four-course menu, focusing on a different country each month, in September.
The first month was Italy, followed by Spain and, most recently, France. The Sunday nights have proven extremely popular with diners.
Tonight, Cork debuts its December menu, which it’s calling Taste of Comfort. The theme is American comfort foods.
The meal begins with creamy tomato soup with grilled Gouda on sourdough, followed by a wedge salad with blue cheese dressing and bacon.
Diners get a choice of three full-sized entrees: smoked chicken pot pie, buffalo meat loaf or Dover sole.
Homemade s’mores are the dessert.
Cost of the meal, which will be offered 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Sunday this month, is $35. Wine pairings are available for an additional $15.
The international themes will return in January, when Cork will offer a four-course, German-inspired meal.
