Joe's Farm Grill to offer 'DD&D' specials in March

Joe’s Farm Grill is celebrating its 2008 appearance on the Food Network’s popular “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives” with a series of specials in March.

Starting Monday, you can purchase The Guy Fieri Meal, which includes all four menu items enjoyed by the show’s flamboyant host (pictured below), for $31.99, a savings of more than $5.

But you’d better be hungry (or have several friends) because the meal consists of a fontina burger with fries, ahi tuna sandwich with sweet potato fries, barbecue chicken pizza and onion rings.

Joe’s Farm Grill also is entering anyone who eats all four of those menu items during the month into a raffle. The grand prize will be a $1,000 gift card.

There also will be weekly specials. For example, anyone who drives up in a red Camaro like Fieri’s from March 8 to March 15 will receive free $10 meals for up to four people.

Dress up like Fieri the following week (March 15-23) and you’ll get $5 off any meal.

Joe’s Farm Grill chef Chad Burnett will demonstrate how to cook the featured menu items from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. There also will be onion ring-eating contests and cookbook signings each Saturday. (See other specials and events.)

If you missed it, repeats of the Joe’s Farm Grill episode, titled “Real Deal Fast Food,” air March 15, March 16 and March 26.
